Since graduating with honours in psychology in 1989 from the University of New South Wales, John Kotroni has worked in Community Mental Health and Private Practice and developed expert professional psychological experience.

John has undergone specialist training in the areas of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, anger management and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), suicide prevention, coping with grief, anxiety, parenting, critical incident stress management and trauma debriefing, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Release Counselling, court reports writing, creating resilience, cross- cultural awareness, management of fears and phobias as well as dealing with occupational stress. As part of his Masters in Psychology program John has completed research into adolescent boys and their sense of community, and is confident and capable dealing with this often-difficult transition period.
A key strength is John Kotroni's thorough understanding of psychological issues gained through years of study, training and practice working in community mental health settings and private practice. In addition to John's strong clinical experience and practice, there is a strong emphasis placed not only on the individual but also the individual within their environment. John Kotroni provides Victims of Crime Counselling, is a Vietnam Veterans Approved Counsellor, Workcover Approved Psychologist, provides Employee Assistance Counselling to numerous local organisations and provides trauma debriefing to the local Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance Services.

Since graduating with Honours in Psychology in 2008 from Southern Cross University , Kelly Bisgrove has has worked in both Private Practice Psychology and within the field of Occupational Rehabilitation.
Kelly is passionate about providing a supportive and collaborative environment for her clients to explore their emotions and to assist them to move forward.

Kelly has undergone specialist training in the areas of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Pain Management, suicide prevention, Gestalt Therapy, and working with children using art therapy tools. Kelly is a Work Cover Accredited Psychologist, and has provided Employee Assistance Counseling to various local businesses.
Louise obtained her Masters Degree at Aarhus University, Denmark. She is also the founder of The Sommer Institute” in Byron Bay.
Before obtaining her Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, Louise had more than ten years of work experience in Goverment and Municipal institutions and working as a personal consultant, specialized in grief and crises.

As a therapist Louise Sommer works eclectically. This means, that she uses different kinds of techniques and approaches as a therapist. She works from both a human psychological, as well as a social psychological approach. Louise aims to understand the wholeness of the person and their individuality. She acknowledges, that we all are unique, each in our own way – as are our upbringings, resources and lives.
Louise has broad experience in working with people in many different problem areas. She teaches doctors, nurses, social educators and their managers about ”Grief and Crises”, as well as how to create a supportive work enviroment for these groups.
Louise has travelled widely throughout her life and enjoys exploring the diversity of cultures and the many ways of living. She finds it an honor and a pleasure to be able to support and help people throughout life, knowing that it often isn’t easy.
Louise offer therapy in both English and Danish.
Louise is available to see clients on Saturdays, Sundays and on Monday and Tuesday mornings.
