Since graduating with honours in psychology in 1989 from the University of New South Wales, John Kotroni has worked in Community Mental Health and Private Practice and developed expert professional psychological experience.

John has undergone specialist training in the areas of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, anger management and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), suicide prevention, coping with grief, anxiety, parenting, critical incident stress management and trauma debriefing, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Release Counselling, court reports writing, creating resilience, cross- cultural awareness, management of fears and phobias as well as dealing with occupational stress. As part of his Masters in Psychology program John has completed research into adolescent boys and their sense of community, and is confident and capable dealing with this often-difficult transition period.

A key strength is John Kotroni's thorough understanding of psychological issues gained through years of study, training and practice working in community mental health settings and private practice. In addition to John's strong clinical experience and practice, there is a strong emphasis placed not only on the individual but also the individual within their environment. John Kotroni provides Victims of Crime Counselling, is a Vietnam Veterans Approved Counsellor, Workcover Approved Psychologist, provides Employee Assistance Counselling to numerous local organisations and provides trauma debriefing to the local Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance Services.

Kelly Bisgrove is a Registered Psychologist who completed her Bachelor Degree with Honours at Southern Cross University. Kelly has worked in both Private Practice Psychology and within the field of Occupational Rehabilitation.

Kelly is passionate about providing a supportive and collaborative environment for her clients to explore their emotions and to assist them to move forward. She has experience working with adults, couples, children, adolescents, and families - with the goal of assisting the development of skills and insight necessary for healthy relationships. Kelly utilises an integrative treatment approach using evidence based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.

Kelly attends regular training to keep up to date with new developments in training, provides critical incident and trauma support to local businesses, and is experienced in providing training within the workplace.

Kelly is a Work Cover NSW and QLD Accredited Psychologist, and an approved Medicare provider. She consults clients with Mental Health Care Plans as a part of the Medicare Better Access Program as well as through the Non Directive Pregnancy Support Service. She also provides Employee Assistance Program counselling services.


Fei Chung, M.Ed (Ch.Fam.Psych), PGDip(Ch.Fam.Psych), B.A (Science)

Fei is a registered clinical psychologist who completed her Master’s degree at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and further postgraduate training at James Cook University in Australia. Fei also studied mindfulness training in France directly under Thich Nhat Hanh, a renowned Zen master, and the Nobel Prize Nominee by Martin Luther King,  Jr.. For the last ten years Fei has worked across various settings including social enterprises, Fortune 500 companies and private practices, empowering her clients to overcome challenges, achieve goals and improve psychological wellbeing.  Fei also has a strong background in corporate and government sectors in providing critical incident support to emergency services, resilience training and coaching.

Fei incorporates evidence-based models into a practical and down to earth approach. She also values and practices strength based positive psychology in her daily life. Fei loves morning meditation, surfing, resistance training and cooking up a storm with fresh local produces.
